BRUCE
BRAINE is a retired vice president for strategic policy analysis
for American Electric Power Service Corp. In this position,
he focused on analysis of federal and state energy and environmental
policy as well as analysis and development of long-term environmental
and energy strategy for AEP.
Braine
originally joined AEP in 1997 as senior vice president - analysis
for AEP Energy Services, an AEP energy trading subsidiary.
He was named vice president - strategic policy analysis in
2002.

utilities, other energy companies, and policymakers.
Braine
has previously served as chairman of EPRI's Energy and
Environmental Analysis Area Council, chairman of the
Board of Directors of the International Emissions Trading
Association (IETA), as chair of the IETA US working
group, on the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Strategic
Issues Committee and EEI Economics and Public Policy
Executive Advisory Committee. He was formerly on the
Board of Directors of the Chicago Climate Exchange.
He is also a former chairman of the pension committee
of the United Way in Central Ohio and was on the Board
of Directors of the Ohio Association of Non-Profit Organizations
(OANO).
Bruce
offers consulting services on a time and expenses basis
(with a cost estimate), on a fixed price basis or on
a monthly retainer basis.
